CrossThread is a Kansas City/Independence local band playing Country, Rock and Blues with a strong emphasis in Outlaw Country. George Jones, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Brooks & Dunn, Cross Canadian Ragweed, CCR, ZZTop, Johnny Cash are just a few of the bands CrossThread Covers. We play the songs you know but strive to play the songs that you haven't heard from every other band.
CrossThreads song list contains modern country songs as well as classic tracks. The classic country songs are played with a new modern country/rock drive giving a new upbeat feel to great classic songs that have stood the test of time.

Tracy Allison has been singing for as long as she can remember. Roots music is her preference: whether it's country, classic rock, or bluegrass. She also likes to perform contemporary styles as well, believing that all styles of music have something to contribute to the enjoyment of the listener.
Over the years, Tracy Allison has performed with various bands in addition to performing on the Opry Circuit. Tracy is a veteran recording artist in the Nashville circuit, which includes vocal contributions on the United Artists soundtrack, "The Prince of Egypt" and various other music compilations. The Drive was created by Tracy Allison to complete a long journey for her and musicians that have a common ground in their musical direction.

Forming in January of 2007 RiverGard has played gigs in bars, member's only clubs, weddings, birthday parties, and many festival events. Through providing quality entertainment and connecting with their audience RiverGard has played many of the top venues troughout the greater Kansas City area and also a few excursions to Lake of the Ozarks and other outlying areas. RiverGard's musical focus was on 80's and 90's style Country and Reddirt Country playing artist such Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Joe Diffy, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Little Texas and many more.
This is a one-off reunion appearance. RiverGard has not played together in almost 9 years! So if you were a fan you better make it to the Country Round-Up Show!
This year's featured guest is Katie Saul! Katie has been singing her whole life and is considered one of the local's best Karaoke singers. She has won many local competitions and has been a guest vocalist with CrossThread and Tell'n Lies at many of their shows and now she is going to take a crack at singing an extended set with the band.
One of CrossThread's original guitarist is flying in to perform again this year! Kevin Fleming has played with many country bands including Saddle Broke, Tell'n Lies, CrossThread and RiverGard. Kevin was instrumental in the development and unique sound and approach CrossThread brings to great classic country that the band continues to this day. He currently lives in Las Vegas and runs sound and lights at a hotel casino.
CrossThread's original guitarist and the one who name the band! Bryce Elkins has been a local favorite and has played with many country bands including Saddle Broke, Trip Hazard and CrossThreadd. Bryce is also one of the original Country Round-Up Show Host going back to where it all began as a Sunday Country Jam at Jersey's Bar!
